The Rural Enterprise Academy Open Event takes place on Wednesday 24th January 2018

Based at the heart of South Staffordshire College’s Rodbaston Campus in Penkridge, The Rural Enterprise Academy are once again offering prospective learners and parents the opportunity to come and find out more about all the Academy has to offer at their open event.TREA banner

The event, which takes place from 6.00pm – 8.00pm on Wednesday 24th January 2018 is the perfect chance for those who have missed out on previous events to tour the impressive facilities, meet the staff and students and explore the range of unique educational opportunities at the UK’s first free land based school.

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and open to learners from year 9 upwards, the Rural Enterprise Academy gives learners the chance to study a blend of traditional GCSEs and A Levels, alongside vocational land based qualifications in subjects including Animal Care, Agriculture and Horse Management. This curriculum offer is proving not only to be extremely popular, but also a real success.

The Rural Enterprise Academy is still accepting applications into Year 9 for September 2018, and those who are interested in applying are being encouraged to do so early, as places are limited. Why not visit the event on 24th January to find out more?
