The Rural Enterprise Academy is a pioneering educational establishment which has been developed in response to local demand and the needs of leading employers.
Our aim is to educate, nurture and inspire future rural entrepreneurs.
With many employment opportunities within the land-based, rural and environmental sustainability sectors, the local community and national employers have recognised the need to train young people for careers in these sectors, whilst ensuring 13 – 16 year olds also study a broad range of subjects to equip them for their future.
We are committed to the development of every student to achieve their individual potential. We provide strong levels of support for all those who need it to achieve A*-C including the vital subjects of English and Maths as this is the cornerstone of what is required for future careers. We also enable students to mix traditional subjects with career related learning to position them well for their future working lives.
Our links with South Staffordshire College, the NFU and Veolia give students first-hand experience of work, the development of skills needed to set them on their way, and the support they need to achieve their future successful career.
The Rural Enterprise Academy 6th Form is for students looking to study a range of A Levels related to rural enterprise or a combination of A Levels and vocational qualifications to meet their individual aspirations and interests.
Our students have access to an impressive range of exciting facilities including…
