The Science team at The Rural Enterprise Academy is looking for an experienced Science Technician to join our forward thinking and supportive department. The successful applicant will join a highly professional team working within a small department.
The technician supports teaching and learning of the science curriculum. The role involves preparing resources, constructing and modifying apparatus and carrying out appropriate safety checks. Duties also involve the preparation and delivery of demonstrations and student experiments, equipment maintenance, cleaning and stock taking.
Good initiative, communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a willing and flexible attitude to work. The successful applicant will require a Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths and have good science knowledge.
